Following victories in 2008 and 2009, the practice entered a team and a half into this years competition but were let down by the 'new blood' taking part in the half team - one team member taking the wooden skittle for the lowest individual score! (A P45 has been suitably administered!)
On a more positive note, the A Team score came 5th overall with Ray and Mike posting the third and sixth highest individual scores.
As quite a few of our industry friends already know, Andrew Dempster is the Bass guitarist in The Majestics covers band. In response to folk asking about gig dates etc, we'll endeavour to keep this slot updated with information of non-private gig dates....and hope to see one or two friendly faces at future events.
Don't give up the day job just yet Andrew...!!!!
Construction work on The Graftons Centre, Altrincham commenced in July. The initial phase involves the conversion of the office tower into a 90 bed Travelodge Hotel with the re-modelling and refurbishment of the ground floor retail units/elements to follow on closely behind.
Client is Miller Developments, Main Contractor is Miller Construction (see 'Projects' section for further information)
John Ratcliff, Ray Bunting and Andrew Dempster recently represented The Manchester Property Gun and Punt Club in the annual clay shooting 'grudge match' against London and Birmingham PG&P clubs.
Manchester came a distant second to Birmingham. The above named individuals did not cover themselves in glory on this occasion!
....well, not exactly the practice but people in it. 2011 is a big birthday year in that we have a 60th, two 50ths, a 40th and a 25th! Whilst 25 is not usually considered to be a 'milestone age' we thought we'd include it to demonstarte that we aren't all old - Infact for 'old' read 'Mature and Experienced'! Names have been excluded by popular demand!.
Happy Birthday everyone!
